I had to take some time out from editing today to celebrate my blog’s one year birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
I can’t believe it’s been a year already. When I first started this blog I didn’t think it would last. I’d had other blogs before and could never keep them going. It struggled at first, I’ll admit. I only posted a few times in the first few months, but then I thought I’d try posting everyday to see if I could do it and now I’m still going with a post everyday, actually two posts usually when I’m writing Kerra as well.
I’ve made a heap of friends through Quill Wielder and I even get to write of The Dark Globe too.
It’s funny to think how blogging has become such an important part of my life. They’re so much I want to write about, people I can to connect to, things to read.
I honestly believe that blogging is one of the best things a writer can create. Every writer needs a blog to share their knowledge with other writers, meet people from all over the world, and network.
If you’re going to self-publish a book your blog is the key to the door of marketing.
Anyway enough rambling, lets look at some stats over the Quill Wielder’s first year:

Thank you to everyone who has been following Quill Wielder and a special thank you to those who were with me from the start, who encouraged me, showed me how this blogging thing worked, and became my friend.
I hope Quill Wielder keeps on running for many years to come.
